ELASTIC STOCKINGS WITH DECREASING COMPRESSION. Tights with maximum compres-sion in the ankle and minimum compression in the thigh (decreasing) for the prevention or treatment of venous insufficiency. They attenuate the risk factors and curb the evolu-tion of the illness. We have different levels of compression, light com-pression (40 Den), normal compression (140 Den) and strong compression (280 Den). Compression tights should be put on as soon as we get up, as later on legs begin to swell, making it difficult to put them on. This is specially important in strong compression.
