Catch the fire conference

ONE international author once said, ‘A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step!’ A single step accompanied by faith provokes

action. Action towards a perceived possibility, being

fully persuaded that all things are possible to those who believe.

Such is the story and journey of a dreamer

and visionary Apostle Tavonga Vutabwashe.His dream began back in 2004 at Cold Com-

fort Primary School, in a classroom where the man of God launched the first Catch The Fire Conference (CTF).

Since then, the conference has become the flagship event on the Heartfelt International Ministries calendar in the month of August every year.

As years passed by, the conference became a gigantic event where people came for deliv-erance, instant healing and witnessing God’s grace upon Apostle Vutabwashe.

This week, Apostle Vutabwashe and the Heartfelt family will be celebrating the 12th an-niversary of Catch The Fire Conference which will be running under the theme: The Apostolic Life at the Harare City Sports Centre from Au-gust 24 to 30.

Apostle Vutabwashe is the Founder and president of Heartfelt international Ministries which is one of the fastest-growing churches in Zimbabwe.

The vision of the church is; To perpetuate the ministry of christ on earth by obeying the great commission, and balancing high spirituality and high professionalism, creat-ing a home for races where gifts are discov-ered developed and celebrated.

Its mission is; To minister in the power of the holy spirit, to promote righteousness, love, peace, respect and personal develop-ment in the Lord, celebrating unity and embracing diversity in the church and the nation whilst transforming the world through Bible-based teaching. To page 11

and major towns in Zimbabwe. These include Bulawayo, Mutare, Gweru, Harare to mention a few. Heartfelt has also established zones in African countries such as South Africa and Mozambique.

Besides being an Apostle, the man of God is a seminarian and philanthropist who gives spiritual guidance to many leaders and founders of other church ministries internationally. He is also the Founder and Principal of Heartfelt Institute of Ministry which is the training col-lege offering vari-ous programmes which includes certifi cate and Di-ploma in Theology as well as Hexco examinations and courses.

Heartfelt In-ternational Min-istries has various departments. These include Pioneers department whose major focus is developing young people for success in their social, marital, academic, fi nancial and spiritual well-being. Pioneers have held brand series such as “I Wanna Get Married”, “Young Business and Professional Summit”, “Going for Gold” among others.

The ministry has a social welfare arm known as HeartLife Care which looks into providing for the needy and less-privileged. Widows and orphans are the primary focus of this department. The department also offers scholarships to deserving students of which Pastor C. Vutabwashe is the patron.

Missions department is the heartbeat of the ministry. It holds soul winning crusades in both rural and urban areas after which churches are planted and pastors deployed.

Heartfelt International Ministries also pro-vides programmes for married couples under the Marriage department. Other departments include Homegroup Fellowship, Market Place Fellowship, Men On Fire and Women On Fire.

Its powerful grip has the ability to bring people, families and na-tions together despite differences in race and language.

The Heartfelt choir has become a force to reckon with on the highly-contested terrain of gospel music.

Heartfelt choir is part of Heart-felt Music which is an arm of

Heartfelt International Ministries.In line with the Ministries’

vision, the choir has a mandate to discover, develop and celebrate gifts for the furtherance of the Kingdom of God.

The group is led by Pastor Sam and Tatenda Nhubu who led the choir in recording their debut album at the Harare City sports centre in 2009 during Catch the Fire conference.

For the following years 2010 to 2013 ,live music recording at Catch The Fire conference be-came a tradition that music lovers

would look forward to.From 2013 the choir began

doing live recordings as a separate event, a move which saw the choir improving its music and perfor-mance.

Last year’s album titled “Inti-macy” made great impact with the hit song “Jakuchichi”.

Their latest offering ti-tled “Glory No Walls” shall be launched at this years conference with Apostle T Vutabwashes’ songs on the album as well.

Apostle Vutabwashe is a sea-soned worshipper whose gifting

and anointing has nurtured many singers, musicians and songwriters

His ministry has become a haven where many young people have found a platform to grow, musically, through training and participation in church services, conferences and crusades.

Plans are underway to establish a music label to develop singers, musicians and songwriters.

The choir is comprised of people from various cultural and musical backgrounds.

This has given the choir an op-portunity to embrace diversity and

be able to reach out to a broader audience.

Songwriting has also been a major strength for the choir, draw-ing inspiration from the teachings of Apostle Vutabwashe.

Heartfelt music is a fusion of African and Western music celebrating African and Western languages

This has been achieved by the liberal approach which allows mu-sicians maximise their creativity in composition and arrangement of music and lyrics.To page 13

Choir is anointed for music that brings joy, healing, comfort and hope. The heartfelt choir is defi nite-ly going for dizzy heights as they continue to pursue excellence.

During previous Catch the Fire conferences Heartfelt International Ministries has honoured spiritual fathers in our country, it has also honoured retired pastors from other ministries. In the same vein Overseer Mutambira was honoured with a motor vehicle for composing an internationally recognised song namely Alpha and Omega which has been sung by various musical groups worldwide

As the ministry continues to grow in excellence, infl uence and impact, Heartfelt international ministries through the man of God Apostle T Vutabwashe has met the needs of Gods people at Catch the Fire conferences. Fadzai was born deaf and dumb and had suffered greatly due to this disability. She at-tended Catch the Fire and received her miracle. She was completely delivered and is now able to hear and speak.

Pastor Rugare Kwarambas’ pelvis dislocated during delivery of

her baby. From that time she lost balance and could not walk. She had to be carried to the conference believing that God would heal her. The anointing of the man of God located her and she received divine healing instantly. Not only was she able to walk but she could not help run up and about when the power of God touched her.

Mr and Mrs Mafuta had suf-fered the pain of miscarriages for 9 years. They had lost all hope that they would live to hold their own baby. The man of God declared that their story would change and that they would hold their baby. Just as the man of God had declared, Mrs Mafuta conceived and gave birth to a bouncing baby girl whom they named Shamiso.

Catch the Fire 2015 is expected to have great impact as Apostle T Vutabwashe will be preaching and teaching the word of God. Covering topics which include teachings and grooming for leaders children, heal-ing sessions, marriage breakthrough service, forceful turnaround service. There shall also be a prayer of inter-cession for our nation Zimbabwe which is a must-attend service.
