REQUEST MASS INTENTIONS
The custom of requesting a priest to offer the Mass for a spe-cific intention, even when one cannot be physically present at the Mass, is a longstanding tradition in the Church. This is because the Church considers the Mass to be the greatest prayer of intercession, for it is the perfect offering of Christ to the Father, making present the paschal mystery of His death and resurrection.
You may request a Mass Intention by:
(1) Visiting us, (2) Calling us, (3) Emailing us, or
(4) Online at
http://www.stmarymiami.org/cathedral/massintentions/

PRAYER TO ST. JOSEPH from the Apostolic Letter Patris Corde by Pope Francis
English
Hail, Guardian of the Redeemer, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary. To you God entrusted his only Son; in you Mary placed her trust; with you Christ became man.
Blessed Joseph, to us too, show yourself a father and guide us in the path of life. Obtain for us grace, mercy and courage, and defend us from every evil. Amen.
