Your Stewardship Matters

“I tell you, Peter, before the cock crows this day,

you will deny three times that you know me.”

(Luke 22:34)

How many times have you heard someone make a disparaging comment about

Jesus or our Catholic faith? How did you react? Do you remain quiet not to cause a

disturbance? Or, do you remain quiet because you believe people will think

negatively about you? Pray for the courage to speak up and enter into a respectful

dialogue when the opportunity arises.

Our students’ talents and hard work extend beyond the classroom as was

demonstrated at the school talent show this week. There will also be some

pretty talented dancers out on the floor at our Student Council sponsored

Daddy/Daughter dance! If you are reading this on Saturday, you may be

seeing some of our female students with their dads all dressed up for the

event. This is always one of my favorites to stop in at! Check out some of the

pictures and all of our accomplishments, events, and much more information

on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/StMatthewParishSchool/. You may

also follow us on Twitter, https://twitter.com/stmattsoc, Instagram, https://

www.stmattoc.org. Living in a technology immersed society, we try to keep up

and utilize it to our benefit! Feel free to share any of our information, online or

in person, with others. Your testaments are what help grow our school. I am

always grateful for your continued support!
