Limited (RCMEPL) was incorporated on 19th Feb 2008. RCMEPL submitted application for grant of Prospecting License (PL) to Govt of Odisha within the stipulated time of 3 months. Ministry of Coal, Government of India conveyed its prior approval for grant of Prospecting License (PL) in favour of the allottees to Govt. of Odisha vide letter No 13116/29/2009-CA-1 dated 13th Aug 2009. However the production of coal from the Block could not commence due to delay in grant of Prospective License from State.150773Loktak Downstream HEPPower Loktak Downstream HEP (66MW)is a JV project between NHPC (CPSU) and Govt. of Manipur. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 1350 crores (Dec 12 PL). PROJECT IS UNDER ADVANCE STAGE OF CONSTRUCTION AND SCHEDULED FOR COMMISSIONING OF UNIT -1 BY SEPT 27, 2014, UNIT -2 BY DEC 27, 2014 AND UNIT 3 AND 4 BY DEC 27, 2015. BOILER DRUM FOR UNIT 1 AND 2 ALREADY EREECTED AND PLACED IN POSITION IN MAY 2013. CONSTRUCTION OF ALL THE FACILITIES SUCH AS RAW WATER PIPE LINE and INTAKE SYSTEM, 400 KV TRANSMISSION LINE, RAILWAY SIDING, COAL HANDLING PLANT, ASH HANDLING SYSTEM, WATER SYSTEMS, ETC ARE IN ADVANCE STAGE. Detailed exploration undertaken by NTPC. Total 39855 mt. drilling done. Geological Report prepared. Mining Plan approved by MOC. Environment clearance accorded by MOEF. Stage-I forest clearance accorded. Payment towards NPV and CA charges made. Compliance of stage-I conditions to be submitted after receipt of NOC under FRA (New format) from Raigarh Dist. Admin. The JV Company between NTPC & SCCL has been appointed as MDO on nomination basis pricing & other modalities under finalization. All notifications for mining area land acquisition completed.
