ABouT The ARTiST - SophiA TRinhSophia Trinh is an American Vietnamese watercolor artist from

Seattle, WA. Sophia started painting at the age of four, and it was through those early experiences of painting that

Sophia developed a love for watercolors. While attending The Oxbow School in Napa, CA, Sophia was inspired to use art as tool to engage others and communicate ideas.

Sophia’s work is inspired by the arts and sciences, with an added touch of creativity and imagination.

We’d like to share a piece of Suncadia with you. We have commissioned a Pacific Northwest artist specializing in watercolor, and inspired by science,

natural forms, and geometry, to create beautiful, hand-painted Holiday ornaments available for sale in

2016. The canvas of her artwork is re-purposed wood that has been forged from fallen trees throughout

the property, made possible with the assistance of the Suncadia Forrester and a team of wood workers.

Over 3,500 acres of Suncadia’s land is conserved. Suncadia has a Land Stewardship Plan in place to ensure

both plant life and wildlife remain undisturbed and even thriving, with an overall goal to provide a surrounding

and intertwining forest that is visually attractive, healthy and capable of supporting diverse native wildlife

populations for generations.

GUIDED WINTER FLY FISHING DRIFT TRIPSthe best way to experience great winter fly fishing on the Yakima river is floating in a drift boat. Winter fly fishing can be outstanding with low river flows and crystal clear water, and the trout are typically interested in many of the small aquatic insects that are active throughout the winter months. trips last about 4-6 hours and include trans-portation, equipment, supplies, waders, boots, and a light lunch and warm beverages. a fishing license is necessary and can be provided. no experience is necessary, beginners are welcome! trips are available daily.
