One, Get One Free” for Teacher Appreciation Week. This offer is valid

on our Black Canyon River Adventure. This offer would be valid for a

CCSD holding employee and up to 3 guests. The “Buy One Get One

Free” is based on our regular retail rate of $87.00. All guests are

required to pay the $10.00 National Park Fee unless holding a valid

National Park Pass. Guests would meet us at Lake Mead RV Village, 268

Lakeshore Rd., Boulder City, NV. for the start of the tour. This offer is

valid for tours booked and taken from May 1, 2016 thru Oct. 31 2016.

CCSD employee must accompany tour and present current CCSD id at

check in desk.

Offer includes lunch in a souvenir insulated cooler. Turkey wrap, chips, cookies,

Smooth Water Rafting at the Base of Hoover Dam

Your journey will begin on the outskirts of Boulder City, the home town of the Hoover Dam, before traveling down the Lower Portal Road. This is the original road construction workers used when building the Hoover Dam. You will board near the base of Hoover Dam, there you will have a bird’s eye view of the Hoover Dam and the Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge which spans Black Canyon connecting Arizona and Nevada 900-feet above the Colorado River. You will spend three hours exploring 12-miles of history as you pass through the Black Canyon National Water Trail with walls that in some places rise 2,000 feet above the river’s edge. Experience the waterfalls, hot springs and other geological wonders, the Desert Big Horn sheep, Osprey, Great Blue Heron and much more. The trip is fully narrated by experienced, knowledgeable guides who offer incredible knowledge of the history of the dam and the area. Lunch is included in a souvenir insulated bag. A stop along the way at a beach for lunch will give you the opportunity to swim or play in the cool clear water of the Colorado River. Your tour will end at Willow Beach, Arizona where you will board your shuttle back to where you started from. ~Don’t Forget Your Camera~
