That means every cell in every living thing needs energy. So every cell does cellular respiration. Plant, animal, bacteria. How does cellular respiration turn energy into a useable form? Its a chemical reaction. The reactants Glucose (sugar fuel) You get it from the food you eat. Its a carbohydratea molecule made from Carbon Hydrogen Oxygen The reactants Burning the glucose fuel requires oxygen, O 2, the oxygen we breathe in. The reactants So glucose + oxygen.
