1 RhinoGold Tutorial Series Celtic Knots First select the Celtic Knots tool, within the Artistic tab. 1 Celtic knots Studio Then, we will see the working table of this tool, on the grill is where we create our composition, we will select the area where the knot will be located. On the right we see the gallery where we’ll select different knots. 2 Celtic Knots Studio After creating our composition will open the style tab and select "solid-square" to define the design as a solid. 3 Scale After creating the solid we will scale with the Scale tool, in the Transform tab or use the Gumball. we’ll scale to a height of 30mm. 4 Celtic Knots Earrings In this tutorial we are going to try some of the more useful commands in RhinoGold. Powerful tools such as Celtic knots, Pipes and Findings.

Celtic Knots

First select the Celtic Knots tool, within the Artistic

tab.

1 Celtic knots Studio

Then, we will see the working table of this tool, on

the grill is where we create our composition, we will

select the area where the knot will be located. On the

Next, we define a circle to the top knot with the

Circle tool, on the Drawing tab, as shown in the

image above.

5 Pipe

In this step we will apply the Pipe tool to the circle

created earlier. This tool is located within the cylin-

der submenu in the Modelling tab.

Copy

Now we copy the pipe from the previos step with

the Copy tool, in the Transform tab and will position

as shown in the image.

7 Findings

Finally, we’ll select a finding with the Finding tool

within the Jewellery tab. In this case we will choose

the "Earring finding 2".
