1. SEMINAR DESCRIPTION

PERSPECTIVE

Innovation is an absolute top priority at Arla. To us, innovation is about offering the consumer

completely new and surprising categories of dairy products, but it is just as much about

staying innovative in the way we work and organise ourselves.

CONTENT

At this skill seminar we will start off by giving you brief introduction to our NPD process

with a special focus on portfolio management, to give you an overview of the different

process stages when working within innovation. After this we will dig into a variety of

different tools and techniques for creative and innovative thinking. Throughout the day you

will be asked to practice and apply these techniques and tools on actual real-life Arla business

cases in breakout sessions. Besides developing your skills, this will also enhance your

knowledge about Arla and our product portfolio. The last part of the day will be about group

presentations, where you will get to present your outcomes from the breakout sessions. Focus

will be on reflecting on the ways we were able to convert the tools and techniques into actual

innovative thinking and on feedback on your learnings.
