OVERVIEW

Voltage 6V, 12V

Ah Rating For 6V: 165Ah to 200Ah C20. For 12V: 30Ah to 250Ah C20. Ah rating is @25°C, with end voltage per cell (EVPC) = 1.75V.

Technology Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) with sulphuric acid thixotropic gel (specific gravity = 1.28) as separator

+ve Plate Flat pasted grid, made of Pb-Ca-Tin-Al alloy, optimized for high corrosion resistance

-ve Plate Flat pasted grid, made of Pb-Ca-Tin-Al alloy, optimized for high corrosion resistance

Electrolyte Dilute sulfuric acid

Separator Micro porous and robust, for electrical separation of the +ve and -ve plates, and optimized for low internal resistance

Container Standard: Reinforced ABS (UL94HB) container and cover Optional: Flame-retardant reinforced ABS container and cover compliant with U.L.94 V-0 with an oxygen limiting index of more than 28%

The Deep Cycle VRLA Gel batteries fare better than Deep Cycle VRLA AGM batteries in deep discharge conditions, and excel in cycling applications, with a capability of giving 5,700+ cycles at 10% depth of discharge.

A – The terminal voltage for “6-“ models is 6V, while that for “12-“ models is 12V.

B – Ah rating is measured @ 25°C with end voltage per cell (EVPC) = 1.75V. The actual battery performance may be ±5% of the figures shown above.

C – SCC means Short Circuit Current and its unit is Amperes.

D – IR means Internal Resistance and its unit is milli-ohms.

E – TT means Terminal Type.

F – Actual dimensions may vary by ±1%.

Charging Voltage vs Ambient

Temperature

The above figure shows the constant charging voltage in relation to the ambient temperature. The bandwidth shows a tolerance of ±30mV/cell.

Capacity vs Ambient Temperature

The above figure shows the available capacity as a percentage of the rated capacity at different ambient temperatures. The curves show the battery behaviour after a number of cycles.

Charging Instructions

Constant voltage charging is recommended.

For a 6V battery, charge to at least 6.90V but no more than 7.05V. For a 12V battery, charge to at least 13.8V but no more than 14.1V.

Constant under or over charging will damage the battery and shorten its life significantly.

Temperature compensation to be applied for temperatures ranging from 0°C to 40°C is as follows: subtract 3mV / °C / cell above 25°C (add 3mV / °C / cell below 25°C).

to you within 6 weeks, no matter how big your order. And more often than not, we will be able to do it sooner

than that.

WARRANTY

Our Deep Cycle VRLA Gel batteries come with a 24 months warranty. We firmly believe in the quality of our

products. However, in the event that there are any problems with our batteries during the warranty period,

we will replace them. No questions asked! Customer satisfaction was, is, and will always be the most

important thing for us.

Note: WARRANTY VOID IF OPENED OR IMPROPERLY CHARGED. Therefore, never open the battery, and use our battery charger or

follow the charging instructions properly.
