CentrumMandate Enabled ACH Payments System

VSoft’s Centrum Mandate Management System is an image-based, multi-institution, multi-location, web-based system for undertaking end-to-end operations for mandate-based, repetitive direct credit or direct debit transactions. Centrum will interface between the bank’s CBS and NPCI NACH system and will manage mandates and transactions processes including posting the data into CBS in customized CBS format.
Functional Modules
Admin ModuleThe common Admin module manages the detailed organization hierarchy including the branches, locations, users and their roles, corporate users etc. Admin specific to the mandates & transactions allows the bank to set up various customized process flows, select session times, set up reject and return reasons etc.
Mandate Management ModuleA comprehensive module for managing all the aspects of the Mandate including outward presentation steps like scanning, IQA, verification, duplicate review etc. and inwards clearing steps like review, returns marking, files presentation to NPCI etc.
ACH Transaction Management ModuleAll aspects of ACH credit & debit transactions are handled by this comprehensive module, including outward presentation, inwards clearing and CBS extracts for ACH, ECS and APBS transactions.
MISBoth the mandate & the transaction modules have been set up to provide detailed dashboards for the daily Mandate & Transactions processing, along with recon reports and any other customized report that the bank requires.
Archive & ResearchThe Mandate and Transaction modules both have their respective archival system as well as retrieval features to enable the bank to research any previously processed mandate image or transaction detail.
Value Added Services
Corporate InterfaceBanks can provide their corporate users with a web interface to the VSoft system where the corporate users can view the status of the mandates and transactions originated by them along with the corporate net position.
Bill Pay ServiceVSoft system enables banks to trigger variable amount transactions on behalf of their corporate customers. This service ensures effortless debiting of end user accounts for variable amounts pertaining to utility bills, telecom bills etc.
End user alertsAn additional feature of sms and email alerts to be sent to end users is also provided by the VSoft System. The alerts will provide the end users with mandate and transaction status updates.
Deployment Model
ScanningMandate scanned at VSoft Image Service Bureaus spread across various cities in India. Mandates will be scanned and the images will be transmitted to VSoft’s Data Centre in Hyderabad.
ProcessingProcessing operations are undertaken at VSoft’s Business Processing Center in Hyderabad using Centrum. Processing operations include mandate initiation, mandate acceptance, accepting acknowledgements and generating response, generating outward ACH transactions and accepting inward ACH transactions. Web Access to Banks and CorporatesUsing the secured web access, authourised users of the banks can review/authorize mandates and the transactions. These users will also have access to real-time analytics data about various operations. Corporates can make use of the web access for direct upload and monitoring.
