CERTIFICATE III CARPENTRY (CPC30211)
This qualification provides a Nationally recognised trade outcome in Carpentry, covering work in residential and commercial applications.
Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30211) is available through an Australian Apprenticeships arrangement or through a Portfolio assessment.

Cancellation Policy: If we receive your cancellation a minimum of 5 working days prior to the event you are entitled to a full refund. Registrations cancelled less than 5 working days prior to the commencement of the training being delivered or failure to notify of non-attendance will result in the full training fee being charged.
Substitutions will be accepted. MBA Group Training reserves the right to cancel any training initiative or to postpone it to an alternative date. All registered participants affected by such postponement will receive a full refund or be offered the opportunity to transfer to the next available training course.

DELIVERYApprenticeship training is carried out in 6, 1 week blocks over three years at MBA Group Training Skills Centre, Fyshwick.
Training consists of both classroom and practical aspects.
Portfolio assessment is by application only.(please contact MBA Group Training for a application form)
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Apprenticeships - Apprentices must be in an approved ACT Training Contract and be eligible to undertake the required training. For more information contact an Apprenticeship Network Provider (ANP). Details can be found at www.australianapprenticeships.gov.au.
Portfolio assessment - determination of competency based on recognition of prior learning (RPL) and prior experience.
All students prior to enrolment will undertake a Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment.
CONTENT30 units of competencies consisting of 22 core units and 8 electives - units can be viewed at training.gov.au.
The qualification has core unit of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry, as well as a specialist field of work.
COSTIf completing an approved apprenticeship this is funded by Skills Canberra. Students will only be charged the administration costs set by Skills Canberra.

CERTIFICATIONCompetent participants will be issued with a National Recognised Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30211) on completion of this course.
Participants who do not complete the Certificate will be issued with a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment of partial completion for Certificate III in Carpentry - (CPC30211).
