2019

A RESIDENTIAL TRAINING COURSE IN 4 MODULES 24 - 25 January 28 Feb - 1 March 2 - 3 May 13 - 14 June

This ever-evolving course, now in its twelfth year, attracts senior managers and leadership development

professionals from a variety of backgrounds, who emerge with radical – and genuinely transformative - insights

into their clients and the systems and cultures in which they operate.

The successful organisation surfs the waves of an often turbulent

environment and this requires leadership that is innovative and adaptable.

We see the role of the coach as catalytic, essential in providing a range

of perspectives and dynamic techniques that help a leader to re-frame

seemingly intractable issues and stimulate sustained change. In this

context, the coach’s own capacity for creative reflection and ability to

apply an eclectic range of ideas and models, have to meld with a

pragmatic focus on tangible outcomes. With this in mind, and

drawing on our experience as coaches working from contemporary

psychological, cultural and organisational perspectives, this training

course combines illuminative theory with extensive practice.

Focussing on issues affecting the individual’s performance and the way they

manage their organisational context, the course also addresses very practical aspects

of coaching such as contracting, relationship building, blocks to successful coaching and the measurement of

outcomes. Business and practice development are explored, addressing the specific needs of the independent or

external practitioner and of the internal coach/consultant and manager.

This course is suitable for those who are actively interested in ideas and

models and how these can be used to unlock issues and promote

change in a client and their organisation. Some experience in

developing others is essential and participants may be:

Independent or external coaches;

Experienced professionals or consultants in specialist fields who need to develop interpersonal skills;

Senior managers in operational or developmental positions responsible for developing their staff and colleagues.
