Certificate Programme in Management IIM-I
Established in 1996, Indian Institute of Management Indore is
the sixth in the prestigious IIM family of management schools.
The institute was chosen to be set up in Indore to give an
impetus to management education in central India and has
ever since been acting as the pioneer in the field of
management, interfacing with the industry, government
sectors and PSUs. The essence of management, IIM- I,
believes, lies in managing one's own ambitions and forging
ahead consciously.

About IIM
IIM Indore’s one-year Certificate Programme in Management
(CPM) is intended to equip the participants with basic skills
and competencies that are required for progression to
managerial and supervisory positions in organizations. The
participants have been coached by the faculty to look at
management grey areas with a critical eye and use practical
ideas to solve problem areas in the work arena. CPM is
designed such that the students receive learning that
enhances one's viewpoint by analyzing real time work place
oriented management scenarios.
The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think

About CPM
The Programme is of one-year duration. It comprises of about
400 hrs of contact classes. These classes comprise of a
combination of online instructions in select cities and on-
campus contact. The courses are divided into three modules.
The first module comprises of foundation level courses in
management while the next two modules focus on courses on
concepts and skills and domain specific courses in
management respectively. CPM course structure has
provided students with insights into the practical aspects of
management and how to successfully execute managerial
tasks in today's ever-changing corporate scenario.

About CPM
Certificate Programme in Management IIM-I
A major portion of the course has been conducted on the
virtual and interactive classrooms in various cities. Participants
have attended these online instructions by IIM Indore faculty
at state-of-art classrooms in the cities of their residence.
Online classes were conducted three days a week. CPM
participants have also got the opportunity to visit the IIM
Indore campus twice and have attended classes on campus.
The students had an extensive interaction with the IIM-I
faculty on and off campus for the clarification of their doubts
throughout the course duration.
