  • INTRODUCTION The purpose of power cables is for the efficient distribution of electrical energy; distribution must be done with a high degree of reliability and safety over very long periods. The range of voltage and capacity of power transmitted through cables is showing a steady increase over the years. Environmental concerns, aesthetic issues, lack of transmission corridors and difficulty in routing overhead lines in crowded human habitats are some of the reasons for the explosive growth of cable technology well into the extra high voltage range. Cable terminations and joints form the weakest link in any distribution system. Also, a failed joint in an underground distribution system is much more difficult to locate and repair compared to any similar problem in overhead distribution systems. This means what we should do our utmost to achieve a good joint or termination, which can give years of trouble-free service. Our main objective is to increase the level of knowledge and skills abilities of participates as well as to transfer our knowledge to attendees to be able to use international and nationally recognized experts in the field of power cable jointing and termination.

CERTIFICATES Internationally recognized wall competency certificate and plastic wallet card licenses will be issued to participants who have successfully completed the course and passed the exam at the end of the course. Successful candidate will be certified as a HV/MV Cable Jointer certificates and licenses are valid for 3 years
