Quality Assurance Quality service is the foundation of CGPSOL’s success. Employees understand that solid engineering is the key element of any successful electrical power system project. Occasionally, in the electric power industry many companies view engineering as a series of unrelated tasks to be performed. CGPSOL emphasizes that overall system integration and continuity are just as important as proper engineering of the individual portions of a system. For this reason, CGPSOL makes it a priority to thoroughly understand the systems with which company projects must interface. This allows the company to design and furnish functional interfaces that will operate seamlessly together.

CGPSOL has successfully completed numerous projects with many different types of utilities. Coordination with the utility company can often be one of the most challenging aspects of an electric power system project. Engineers at CGPSOL understand the importance of researching the requirements of a particular utility at the early stages of a given project to assure that those requirements are met and the client is provided with a smooth interface with the utility.

Project Management CGPSOL organizes and executes each contract on a project-by-project basis. A project manager is assigned for the duration of the project. Project information, both technical and administrative is routed through the project manager to and from the client. For large projects, a project management team is assigned. Additionally, CGPSOL’s staff is assigned for the duration of the project to ensure the benefits of a consistent team. Other technical personnel are assigned as required. Our officers and department managers are available to each project team at all times for advice and consultation.

Safety Safety is of paramount importance at CGPSOL. The company’s experience modification rate (EMR) is 0.86 and there have been no lost work time injuries in the past five years. Testing & Commissioning This unit is responsible for safely & timely energization of constructed facilities. The team uses in-house testing equipment and personnel.
