Benefits for Employers: • Shape the quality of your future

workforce • Access a pipeline of skilled

and Math • Transportation Distribution and

Logistics

2015-16 academic year 328 Youth Apprentices, partnering with 214 employers, serving 27 high schools throughout northcentral Wisconsin.

The Youth Apprenticeship program gives you the opportunity to start with students who are young and eager to learn and you can train and develop them in your culture, using your equipment, learning your processes and develop them into a future career and long-term employment. It's been a great opportunity for us.

Kari BrunetteWausau Window and Wall Systems

The Youth Apprentice program has been a great partnership with NTC and the different school districts. We have had great success with the students we mentored, and it gave them a real life learning experience which is extremely valuable. It also helped our organization by providing some extra help, and a mentoring experience for the full time employees. This program provides students experience that they will be able to use either furthering their education or going out into the job market.
