27 year old songwriter, trapper and
recording artist Sizwe Andrew Thabethe
from Zonkizizwe, East Rand Johannesburg
fell into entertainment at the tender age of
8. Entrancing Performer of Startling music in
primary school he used to do Dramatic Arts
and was in the choir. In high school he was
in the group called Peer Education run by
the late Akhumzi Jezile from (Yotv). He rose
to fame in 2015 after joining award winning
record label Ambitiouz Entertainment
and was featured on well-known DJ Citi
Lyts street anthem “Shishiliza”. He indeed
proved that he is a hook maverick.

Separate from music, Kraizie is also a
traditional healer. Although they may seem
as they are two different worlds, his spiritual
practices ties with his music. The multi-
talented star also comes with an acting
background, doing Cameo roles for popular
TV shows such as uGugu no Andile, YoTv and
The Queen.

He then released his debut single Pebep. He ended the exciting year of 2017 pushing out an unexpected single titled Phumuza Maphiko, which serves as his second and latest single. Phumuza Maphiko is a 4 minute composition of a fiery hook and catchy verses that are easy to sing along to. The song is lyrically simple and has a modern feel that appeals across all demographics.
In 2018, visuals for Pebep were released exclusively on MTV Base after it received great positive responses since its release. Kraizie has performed the song in different parts of the country. Following the successful releases of the Pebep visuals as well as phumuz’amaphiko, Kraizie currently has his latest offering titled “Thilili”.
With contributions from fellow artist, Emfezi Emnyama, Thilili compromises of a much Soulful and deeply personal sound.
Thilili lyrically portrays Kraizie persistently trying to get a hold of his loved one over the phone until he eventually wins at the end of the single.
Produced by Dr Bafana, Thilili is set to rapidly race up the national charts with its radio friendly and chart topping characteristics. In the first scene of the Thilili visuals released in January, we are introduced to a troubled Kraizie, wallowing in self-pity. His friend can no longer take the wallowing, he takes his hand, and this is where the journey begins. This video takes us on a journey as we watch with much anticipation Kraizie persistently trying to get hold of his love. Separate from music, Kraizie is also a traditional healer. Although they may seem as they are two different worlds, his spiritual practices ties with his music. It comes as a shock towards many fans that beyond the trap culture, he is very much in touch with his African traditional roots
