REal-woRlD buSINESS EDucaTIoNAt Chapman, we understand that it is important to learn about business theory, but that is not enough. Students must experience real world business scenarios to learn how to best deal with the problems that business people encounter every day.

Argyros School faculty are well equipped to provide our students with a complete learning experience. They hold doctorates from renowned institutions, and their research is published in the most selective academic journals. And that is just the beginning. Faculty combine their experience as consultants and experts within their industry to infuse the curriculum with real-life examples of business problems and solutions.

An international perspective is essential in today’s global economy. In addition to required course work in international business, all Chapman MBAs are able to participate in study-abroad trips, which are designed to enhance a student’s exposure to global business trends and issues.

For our Full-Time and Flex MBAs, study-abroad trips to such locales as China, Vietnam, Spain, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Denmark and Finland are offered every academic year. Our Executive MBAs take a required travel course to three locations in Asia during their summer session.

In addition, our Prague MBA program provides Orange-based students the opportunity to take a course in the Czech Republic, or to combine experiences between the two locales to create a truly International MBA.

“ Traveling abroad adds to your understanding of how business works on a global scale–it illuminates both challenges and opportunities in these markets that our students take with them to their jobs and careers.” Noel Murray, Ph.D., Director of Chapman’s Schmid Center for International Business and Associate Professor of Marketing
