    Parents need certain skills in order to perform

    these functions well.

    Conflict and eventually breakup in the family

    due to these social issues(promiscuity,

    substance abuse, incest, domestic violence).

    indifference among family members and as a

    result, they may accept the problems rather

    than deal with them(poverty or substance
