Acknowledgement and naming rights opportunities The University honours donors through acknowledgment commensurate with the generosity of their support, including:
• Invitations to annual Guardian events, University and civic occasions
• Citation in CDU publications and the Greek Guardian’s Roll of Honour
• Naming of: - Student scholarships and prizes - Professorial Chair - Buildings and Venues
We, CDU Foundation Guardians of Greek Language and Culture, are leading the campaign to make the Greek language and culture program at Charles Darwin University (CDU) the best in Australia.
The Greek community has always played a significant role in the development of the Northern Territory, and now with Charles Darwin University and the formation of the Greek Guardians, we are turning our efforts to promoting awareness and understanding of 5000 years of Greek language and culture.
We have already:
• produced Australia’s premier in-country Greek language and culture program, now in its 10th year
• delivered ongoing Greek language and culture lectures, combining personal instruction at Casuarina campus with on-line delivery
• provided post-graduate research opportunities
• built on the successes of the past 10 years, and are looking to an ever-brighter future.

How you can help We are fundraising towards a target of $1.5 million to advance our program for the next five years, and we are seeking your support to create an internationally recognised, self-sustaining program for undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate study and research.
In just our first year, we have raised over $400,000. We are now lifting our fundraising efforts and with your help we can create Australia’s best Greek language and culture program at CDU.
We are seeking your support and inviting you to become a Greek Guardian in one of the following categories:
