Your bridge to an unlimited careerAvailable at University of Lethbridge campuses in Lethbridge, Calgary and Edmonton, CPA Bridging enables you to complete the business and accounting courses needed for entrance into the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP), while you continue to work full time. PEP is the certification program for the CPA designation.

Designed with the needs of adult learners in mind, we offer evening and weekend courses in Calgary and Edmonton, and daytime courses in Lethbridge. Students benefit from high quality classroom instruction provided by our academic and experienced professional faculty.

CPA Bridging offers support activities, including mentorship, specifically designed for career changers, adult learners and internationally trained professionals.

Is CPA bridging right for you?The program was designed specifically to enable those with a four-year degree in any discipline to transition to a career as a CPA.

You don’t need prior accounting courses or work experience, so you can become a business leader without a business background.

In addition, you take only the courses you need. If you’ve already completed some PEP pre-requisite courses, you’ll complete CPA Bridging more quickly. Custom program planning gets you into your new career as soon as possible.

Professional diploma in accountingCPA Bridging students may also be awarded the university’s Professional Diploma in Accounting (PDA). Contact an advisor to see if your CPA Bridging program plan meets the diploma requirements.
