CHECK POINT CYBER SECURITY LEARNING CREDITS
WHAT ARE CYBER SECURITY LEARNING CREDITS (CLC)? Check Point CLC enables customers to purchase training when buying new software, appliances, support and services. The program ensures that customers receive the highest quality of training through Check Point Authorized Training Partners (ATC) and facilitate the learning of Cyber Security technologies by Check Point. Each Learning Credit (CLC) is valued at $100 (USD) and is valid for one year from the date it is activated. The ability to get the most of your Check Point Cyber Security investments and meet your business goals is directly tied to the skills and expertise of your IT staff. With the right training, your organization will retain a competitive edge and remain ahead of the technology curve. This enables you to increase productivity and safeguard your training budget by addressing your training needs at the time of the product purchase. HOW MANY LEARNING CREDITS I SHOULD BUY? Check Point recommends that you add 7%-10% training investment for every deal in order to optimize your cyber security investment. As example if the deal is valued at $100K, we advised you to add 70-100 CLC units to your quote. Please refer to the calculation rate table for CLC use. HOW DO I PURCHASE CHECK POINT LEARNING CREDITS? CLC units are to be purchased via the Check Point product catalog. Customers may have their Value-Added Reseller purchase and maintain the CLC units on their behalf. Below is a view from the product catalog.

HOW WILL THE TRAINING COURSE BEEN COMPLETED WITH CLC UNITS? WHO ARE CHECK POINT AUTHORIZED TRAINING PARTNERS (ATCS)? Check Point Learning Credits can only be redeemed through participating Check Point ATC partners. For a complete listing of participating Training Partners, please visit http://atc.checkpoint.com/atclocator Check Point Authorized Training Partners are the only authorized commercial sources for providing Check Point training. ATC Partners are uniquely qualified to deliver our certification training courses. In addition, the ATC instructor must pass certification exams to become Certified Instructors. HOW DO CUSTOMERS REDEEM CLC? In Q3/2017, Education team will manage your enrollment and CLC inventory.
Q4/2017 Check Point will launch a self-manage system for CLC in the User Center
To redeem credits, send mail to [email protected] with the following information:
• User Center account ID • Sales order number of CLC purchase • Student name(s) & email address(s) • Training course and version • Preferred month, date of training course • Preferred method of training (classroom or virtual training) • Preferred region or location
I HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH A VENDOR WHO PROVIDES TRAINING, BUT THEY ARE NOT IDENTIFIED CHECK POINT ATC PARTNER.
Unauthorized training providers do not use the latest Check Point course materials, and we cannot control the quality of their training. Only the ATC Partners have legal access to our intellectual property and the ability to customize courses to meet your needs.
