Subject Entry Requirements
1. Chemistry (essential)
2. Maths (essential)
3. Physics* or Biology or Human Biology (essential)
4. English (strongly preferred / essential 4th subject*)
* Physics (essential for ACCE degree)
* English (essential for Teaching degree)
* Foundation Physics is compulsory in 1st year if no Higher for all other courses
Minimum Entry Requirements
• MChem Chemistry (most places available)– Scottish Highers: BBBB or ABBC or AAB *– Advanced Highers / A Levels : BBC (2nd Year entry)
• ACCE / CDD / FAC / Teaching (limited places available)– Scottish Highers: AABB or AAAC *– Advanced Highers / A Levels: ABB (2nd Year entry)
• If sitting AH Chemistry – we expect a pass! (Condition set)• Recognised as the most difficult portfolio of subjects • H & AH in the same subject are counted only once
