Use specific reasons and examples to support your position. ========================================== I fully agree that children must start learning foreign language right from the day they start schooling. English is learnt in majority of countries as a foreign language and English is referred to as a global language. Because English is so widely spoken, it has often been referred to as a "global language". While English is not an official language in many countries, it is currently the language most often taught as a second language around the world. English is rather a language that is absorbing aspects of cultures worldwide as it continues to grow. It is, by international treaty, the official language for aerial and maritime communications, as well as one of the official languages of the European Union, the United Nations, and most international athletic organizations, including the International Olympic Committee. English is the language most often studied as a foreign language. In the European Union this is followed by French, German, and Spanish. Language is the means of communication. In the modern globalization era it is not enough to be able to speak one language to communicate. I strongly feel that children should begin learning a foreign language as soon as they start school. They can learn faster and better. Once any body who masters the language he or she can move to any country for a better academic career or job and business prospects. Secondly learning a language at the last moment becomes very tedious task or sometimes impossible too. In conclusion learning language from the first day of school is of a vital importance for any one to be competent and successful in academic field or business front internationally. ---- 273 Words)
