C150 chopper pump is the ideal solution for pumping solids, sludge and rags.

Selwood has developed the C150 chopper pump with its key partners in the process, industrial and water sectors.  All have a common requirement to pump and condition liquids that contain a high proportion of solids, organic matter or rags.

The Selwood C150 chopper pump, with its hardened impeller and cutter (60 rockwell) plus a cutting action giving 3000 cuts per minute, is more than capable of meeting these arduous applications.

The C150 is available in a wide range of versions.  The diesel unit has a choice of either skid mount, mobile site chassis or super silent canopy for on site flexibilty.  The electric version has a static chassis with a choice of motor sizes and can be supplied with or without Selprime automatic self priming.

SelprimeThe unique original Selwood self priming system utilising a water tolerant diaphragm air pump. An environmentally friendly design that has none of the problems of oil vapour emissions and oil emulsification associated with other priming systems.

Super SilentSuper Silent versions are available with noise levels from as low as 58 db(A).

Fully BundedAll Super Silent units are fully bunded, ensuring that any fuel or oil spillage is retained within the bund and does not contaminate the surroundings. Drain plugs within the unit’s chassis can then be used to remove the fluids.

Auto Stop/Start & TelemetryFloat control for automatic stopping and starting of the pump using the latest technology to give an easy to use, effective and efficient control.

Telemetry allows remote measurement and reporting of the pumps operation directly to pre-selected mobiles or land lines, providing real time alarm messages for high level float, failure/start, engine fault and emergency stop activation.
