Newton Tony CE VC Primary School Christmas Newsletter December 2019 Christmas Festivities Our Christmas Nativity Service took place on Thursday 19th December at St Andrews Church. Well done to all the Hedgehogs who performed our nativity Whoops-a–Daisy-angel’. All the children enjoyed celebrating this special time of year as Christians remember the birth of Jesus. The Badgers Choir were invited to sing Christmas Carols at the Village Café Christmas meal. The children sang a range of modern and traditional songs. A wonderful time was had by all. Afterwards, the children were gifted a box of Christmas biscuits. Thank you! Thank you to everyone who supported the Trussell Trust Christmas box appeal. You have made a difference to a child this Christmas. There were over 11, 280 boxes distributed this year in South East Europe. Our Designated Safeguarding Lead is Miss Priestley and our school Deputy Lead is Mrs Hillier. If you have any concerns about a childs welfare please speak to us. Parents can access our school Safeguarding information on our website or visit the school office. Updated Safeguarding leaflets are available in the Atrium. We welcome all our new children that have joined our school since October. We know it wont be long until you feel like part of our Newton Tony Family. Reminder that our early Bird breakfast club starts at 7.30am and our After School Red Kite club finishes at 5.30pm. Children can attend on a daily basis or you can book in advance. The pantomime visit was fantasc, giving all our children the opportunity to see Robin Hood this Christmas ! Christmas Festivities

Our Christmas Nativity Service took place on Thursday 19th December

at St Andrew’s Church. Well done to all the Hedgehogs who performed

our nativity ‘Whoops-a–Daisy-angel’. All the children enjoyed celebrating

this special time of year as Christians remember the birth of Jesus.

The Badgers Choir were invited to sing

Christmas Carols at the Village Café

Christmas meal. The children sang a

range of modern and traditional songs. A

wonderful time was had by all.

Afterwards, the children were gifted a
