CHRISTMAS IN GREAT BRITAIN and in the U.S.A.

Christmas is a very important festivity in Great Britain and in the U.S.A. In December people decorate their houses with lights

Outside…..

…and inside.

Children write their letters to Santa Claus

And they hang their stockings at the fireplace or at the end of their beds. Santa Claus will put candies and sweets inside

At Christmas Eve children prepare a glass of milk and mince pies for Santa

Claus and carrots for the reindeer

On Christmas Day they find the presents under their Christmas tree

and they open them

At dinner people open crackers and eat turkey and vegetables

They eat a Christmas pudding and they put a coin inside. Who receives the

coin in his-her slice, will be very lucky

They can eat a fantastic Christmas cake, too

Merry Christmas
