LENT : “MERCY” Lk 6:36 : Renewing our Discipleship in Christ : “Promoting Compassion into the Community” What Can I do this LENT?

“ Laudato Si”- Praise Be To You, My Lord : Pope’s message on Protection of the Earth. Reduce Reuse Recycle. Protect the Earth.

Human life is grounded in three fundamental and closely intertwined relationships with God, with our neighbour and with the earth itself.

The Pope suggests an examination of our lives and attitudes, particularly those connected with consumerism and a “throw-away culture,” and move toward “heartfelt repentance and desire to change.”

Lenten Events :

1) English Class for Migrants on alternate Sundays : 2 – 5 pm, starting 6 March and followed by 2nd and 4th Sundays. 2) Legal Clinic – to give advice to parishioners on legal problems relating to Family Law, Employment Law, Property Law, etc. (Call parish office)

Lenten Medical Camp : 13 March 2016 – 8.00 am – 3.00 pm. Blood Donation Medical Camp : Catholic Doctors Association will be conducting the camp.
