How can we show others the mercy of God? We say that God is compassionate, but we ignore the poor. We say that God loves us and has mercy on us, but we hold grudges against our friends. Our actions need to authentically reflect God's mercy.

nothingness.”—Saint Teresa of Calcutta

“God doesn’t call us to church on Sundaybecause he has some egotistical need for us all to

fall down before him and worship him at ten o’clock every Sunday morning. It isn’t designed to help

him; it’s designed to help us.It isn’t intended to make him happy;

it’s intended to allow us to share in his happiness. The Mass is filled with riches. It is an unfathomable

gift.Embrace the gift.”

–Matthew Kelly

“Remember you have only one soul; that you have only one death to die; that you have only one life,

which is short and has to be lived by you alone; and there is only one glory, which is eternal. If you do this, there will be a great many things about which

you care nothing.” – St. Theresa of Avila

We need to show each other grace, cut each other some slack.

Treat others the way you want to be treated.“Why do you see the speck in your neighbor’s eye,but do not notice the log in your own eye?” Matthew 7:3

I try each day when encountering people to see the little child within. On my window sill near my mirror I have a small photo of myself when I was a child. Each morning I look at that picture and I think how innocent and pure I was, and I ask God to help me see that in others. When I receive the Eucharist I envision God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, Mary, Joseph, all the angels, and saints embracing me wrapped in a soft pure white blanket, not as the adult I am but as that small child.

Thank You and GOD BLESSall those who help count and deposit our weekend contributions.

Your time is much appreciated!

Oh, Holy Angel at my side, go to church for me.Kneel in my place at Holy Mass, where I desire to

be.At Offertory in my stead, take all I am and own,and place it as a sacrifice upon the altar Throne. At Holy Consecration’s bell, adore with seraph’s

love,my Jesus, hidden in the Host, come down from

heaven above. Then pray for those I dearly love, and those who cause me grief, that Jesus’ Blood

may cleanse all heartsand suffering souls relieve.

And when the priest Communion takes,oh, bring my Lord to me.

That his sweet heart may rest on mine and I his temple be.

Pray that this Sacrifice Divine may mankind’s sins erase,

then bring me Jesus’ blessing home, the pledge of every grace. Amen.

No act of virtue can be great

if it is not followed by advantage for others. So, no matter how much time you spend fasting,no matter how much you sleep on a hard floor

and eat ashes and sigh continually,if you do no good to others, you do nothing great.

Saint John Chrysostom

If no priest is available, a Communion Service, with consecrated hosts, will be held.

This will fulfill your Sunday obligation.Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Praise be to you!Triune Lord, wondrous community of infinite love, teach us to contemplate youin the beauty of the universe, for all things speak of you.Awaken our praise and thankfulnessfor every being that you have made.Give us the grace to feel profoundly joinedto everything that is.God of love, show us our place in this worldas channels of your lovefor all the creatures of this earth, for not one of them is forgotten in your sight.Enlighten those who possess power and moneythat they may avoid the sin of indifference, that they may love the common good, advance the weak, and care for this world in which we live. The poor and the earth are crying out.O Lord, seize us with your power and light, help us to protect all life,to prepare for a better future, for the coming of your Kingdomof justice, peace, love and beauty.Praise be to you!Amen.* Pope Francis published this prayer in his Laudato Si’ encyclical, and is meant for us Christ

A Prayer for our EarthBy Pope Francis*All-powerful God, you are present in the whole universe and in the smallest of your creatures. You embrace with your tenderness all that exists.Pour out upon us the power of your love, that we may protect life and beauty.Fill us with peace, that we may liveas brothers and sisters, harming no one.O God of the poor, help us to rescue the abandoned and forgotten of this earth,so precious in your eyes.Bring healing to our lives, that we may protect the world and not prey on it,that we may sow beauty, not pollution and destruction.Touch the heartsof those who look only for gainat the expense of the poor and the earth.Teach us to discover the worth of each thing,to be filled with awe and contemplation,to recognize that we are profoundly unitedwith every creatureas we journey towards your infinite light. We thank you for being with us each day.Encourage us, we pray, in our strugglefor justice, love and peace .* Pope Francis published this prayer in his Laudato Si’ encyclical, and is meant for sharingwith all who believe in a God who is the all-powerful Creator .

Weather has such an impact on your emotional state on any given day. How you embrace the weather has a direct impact on your day. It does not matter if it is raining or sunny, it only matters how you embrace what is given to you each day.
