No not that crazy dance that every kid knows. Although it totally cracks us up when we mention floss in the office and they show off their slick dance moves! I’m talking about actually flossing your teeth. I imagine this is the least completed personal hygiene task on earth. What can make flossing easier? Some genius a few years back came up with floss sticks and now you can buy them everywhere for next to nothing. This little invention has made flossing so much better! People ask me all the time if old standard floss or the new floss sticks are better. To be honest, they work exactly the same. Some advantages of floss sticks:

• Way more convenient and easy to use • Kids generally think they are cool so they use them more

often • Inexpensive – can pick up 50 or maybe 100 at the dollar

store for just a buck • Great way to help your child fight those hidden cavities

between the teeth

I encourage you to pick up a bag of floss sticks and give them a try – see if they help your child floss more often. Then challenge them to floss while they

do the Floss! If they can do it they definitely need to show off their mad floss skills next time they are in the office!

Recipe: Green Smoothie

Gators in Action:

Ingredients: 1 cup almond milk (or other favorite milk) 1 banana, sliced and frozen ½ cup frozen pineapple, strawberries or mango 1 cup loosely packed baby spinach Directions: 1. Place all ingredients into a blender and blend on high for 1

minute or until all ingredients are combined and smooth. 2. Serve immediately Optional Mix Ins: • 1 Tablespoon nut butter • Substitute baby kale for the spinach

Employee Spotlight The Gator Crew had an amazing time in

February visiting Preschools and 1st Graders in Cibolo, San Marcos and Seguin as part of

our Partner in Education program!

We brought our Wanda Wondersmile Puppet Show and Bad Breath Betty Presentation to

help children learn about good dental health habits. Children received a homework chart encouraging them to brush for 2 weeks and

return their chart for a prize!

Preschools loved Wanda & her friends at the

musical Puppet Show!

Kids had a blast clapping & cheering & teaching Betty how

to take care of her teeth!
