East Surrey College, Gatton Point, London Road, Redhill, 24 weeks, Tuesday 12 September 2017, 17:00 – 21:00.

Entry requirements:

You will be required to submit a short written diagnostic and current CV prior to enrolment on the programme.

Candidates may also be required to attend an interview.

What qualifications will I get?

CIPD-accredited Certificate in Human Resources Practice

Course description:

The CIPD Foundation Level 3 qualifications are suitable for those:

• Wanting to gain the essential knowledge and skills required to move into HR

• Working in an HR support role but who do not hold a formal HR qualification

• Line managers with responsibility for people management and development

• Looking to become a professional member of the CIPD as an Associate member

The Foundation Certificate Level 3 will provide you with a firm introduction and understanding of HR in a wider

business context.

3HRC - Understanding Organisations and the Role of Human Resources (4 Credits)

4DEP - Developing Yourself as an Effective Human Resources or Learning and Development Practitioner (4

Credits)

3RAI - Recording, Analysing and Using Human Resources Information (2 Credits)

3RTO - Resourcing Talent (6 Credits)

3MER - Supporting Good Practice in Managing Employment Relations (6 Credits)

3PRM - Supporting Good Practice in Performance and Reward Management (6 Credits)

Type of assessment:

You will be assessed via a range of methods include written assignments (business reports, work-based project and

reflective statements to support individual learning plans), presentations and role play.

Equipment needed:

CIPD Membership

Course text books – you will be required to purchase your own book. Your tutor will advise you which book need

to be purchased during your first lesson.

Where can it lead?

Successful completion of the course gives you:

An industry recognised professional qualification (CIPD Foundation Level Certificate in Human Resources Practice

(CHRP)) which proves to employers your commitment to continuing professional development in your specialist

field.

Continued study opportunities onto higher levels of the CIPD qualifications (Intermediate Level 5 and Advanced

Level 7).

Associate membership of the CIPD (a professional badge of competence that signals to employers your ability to

apply your knowledge in a business context).
