Working across the organization and reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this position will leverages a strong understanding of cybersecurity issues and workforce requirements to serve in a high-profile position. The Director of Business Development will use market intelligence best practices to understand target buyers, how they buy, and their buying criteria all while staying on the CyberVista message. Skills/Candidate Profile 5+ years of business development or sales experience BA/BS degree or equivalent Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to grasp and translate cybersecurity workforce literacy, skills, and competencies capabilities into customer benefits Demonstrates very good knowledge of the cybersecurity training and education marketplace Be conversant with key cybersecurity issues facing the market Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close Experience in developing client-focused, differentiated ad achievable solutions Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills Excellent verbal and communication skills Experience working and reporting through a CRM system Responsibilities Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets with a focus on B2B but support of B2C Develop and executive strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s customer base Partner with customers and prospects to understand their business needs and objectives Effectively communicate CyberVista’s value proposition through proposals, presentations, and conversations Understand the Cybersecurity training and education landscape and trends
