APPLICATION FOR ADMISSIONS

Take advantage of the many opportunities available. Attend an informational meeting, shadow students to see classes in action and attend the Open House for prospective families on November 2nd at 1 p.m. at CJHS.

Submit an application by the December 15th Priority Deadline and save $500 off the first year’s tuition. After December 15th, applications will be accepted as space permits.

Tuition Assistance (TA) applications for new and returning students are due by February 3rd, 2015. These applications are available at www.cjhs.org. Applications must be complete in order to be reviewed.

Incoming freshmen need to take a placement exam. The exam determines a student’s high school readiness and suggests appropriate course placement for freshman year.

Two Sunday morning test dates will be offered: Sunday, December 14th, 2014 and Sunday, January 11, 2015. All testing takes place at CJHS. Students who have already taken the ISEE may submit copies of their scores with their application and do not need to retake the test at CJHS. Note: Those students receiving extended test time need to register for the December 14th testing date.

Once all application materials are received (including teacher recommendations and school transcripts), students and their parents attend an interview with two members of our admissions committee. These half-hour interviews are scheduled primarily during school hours, with limited availability on Sundays and evenings.

Families who have completed steps 1–4 will receive notification of acceptance by mid-February. Parents will be notified of tuition assistance awards by mid-February.

Mazel Tov! Simply sign and submit your enrollment agreement. Once received, students will register for classes.
