Thi s means that sol id conductors or those wi th ferrules ca n be directly i nserted i nto the termi nal block without tools.The specia l spring profile enables the easy connection of conductors with ferrules from 0. 34 mm2. The contact spring is automatica lly opened when the conductor is pushed i n and thereby ensures the required pressure force aga inst the current bar. The springi s opened - whether to rel ea se conductors or to connect smal ler cross sections from 0.14 mm2 - with the actua tion lever - easil y and without direct contact with live parts.The actuati on lever ca n be operated with allstanda rd screwdri vers.The PI T connection method has been tested a nd a pproved for a wi de rang e of approvals.These incl ude,for example, vi bra tion resi stance according to railway sta ndard EN 50155 a nd shock and corrosion resistance accordingto current shipbuild ing registers.
