Discover Virajpet Nagarhole National Park & Iruppu Falls
Tall teakwood trees, innumerable deer, wild elephants and
bison are what a visit to Nagarhole promises. On your way,
visit the breathtaking Iruppu Falls.
Chelavara Falls & Chomakund
Enjoy the stunning waters of the Chelavara Falls and the lush
greenery of Chomakund Hill just a short drive away form the
resort.
Igguthappa Temple & Malithrikey Temple
Padi Igguthappa Temple is sacred to the locals. Go on to gaze
at the stunning view from Malithrikey Temple.
Nalknad Palace & Thadiyandamol
Peek into history & visit Nalknad Palace, at the bottom of the
Coorg's highest mountain, Thadiyandamol. Thadiyandamol is

Some foodie delights.Holidays aren't fun unless you sample some of the delicious
local cuisine, right? Make sure you don't leave without taking
a morsel of the flavourful Pandi curry, traditionally made with
wild boar, but now with pork. Don't worry about packing on
those extra pounds, Kacampuli, a sour local fruit, is the secret
ingredient that is said to cut all the fat out of the meat. This
dish is best enjoyed with Akki Roti (rice bread) or
Kadambuttu (rice dumplings). There's more! Sink your teeth
into a yummy chicken dish, Koli curry. Vegetarians can enjoy
tasty bamboo shoot curry, Nooputtu or Coorg mango curry.
Mouthwatering, isn't it? Try it all at Coorg Cuisinette in
Madikeri market (opp. the Head Post Office) or Athithi (near
Chickpet, Madikeri). Both are relatively inexpensive. Or if
you're near IB on the Mangalore road, be sure to check out
Hotel Green Land's interesting K tea.
