Files chiefly cover the Louisiana KKK, known as the Original Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. Documents contain cursory information regarding the FBI investigation of the Ku Klux Klan during 1964 and 1965 for possible violations of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and other criminal activities.
