1/06/09 Elapsed Time Station Ms. A- Station 1 -Instructs students on telling time in Time Zones. Ms. B- Station 2- Instructs students utilizing schedules to tell elapsed time. Relate to events in student’s life to develop problems to solve for telling elapsed time. Independent Learning Station 3- Students tell time using an analog and digital clock. Independent Learning Station 4: Students given times and events for a track meet or a gymnastics meet; make a schedule for the competitors.

Map Airline schedules White boards Story Copies of schedules- for the class activities. White boards Clocks Cards with times Chart Sheet to record times Packets with cards of events and times, names of competitors Chart to fill in time and events to complete schedule

Groups formed according to interests and behavior: (List students in each group) Group 1 (Names of students on green chart) Group 2: (Names of students on orange chart) Group 3: (Names of students on yellow chart) Group 4: (Names of students on blue chart) Groups will rotate every 15 minutes. (Timer will ring 3 minutes prior to rotation) Students will be paired with a partner to work at the independent learning stations. Mary will need to work at the computer for independent learning station 3 to practice telling time using an analog and digital clock
