• Used for tongue and groove flooring• When hardened is used in masonry• Farriers also use these when attaching

horseshoes

Finishing Nail

• Used in trim, cabinets, and furniture in the house

• Used when countersinking is needed.

• Used in framing, shiplap, and board fencing.

• Used for light construction such as wood siding and nailing into end grain.

• Commonly galvanized• Used on flooring or decking where wood will
