Throughanextensivenationalconsultation

processandaProjectSteeringGroupconsisting

ofstateandnationalcricketpartners,Stateand

LocalGovernmentrepresentatives,designers

andproductindustrypersonnel,wehavenow

developedthemostcomprehensivecricket

facilityresourceeverproducedinAustralia.An

achievementweareveryproudofandaresource

thatweremaincommittedtodevelopingand

continuingtoimprove.

TheyhavebeenproducedbyCricketAustralia

withsupportfrominsideEDGESportandLeisure

Planning,andaProjectSteeringGroupconsisting

ofstateandnationalcricketpartners,stateand

localgovernmentrepresentatives,designersand

productindustryprofessionals.

The Guidelines have been developed in three sections:

TheGuidelinesareintendedtosupportstakeholderstoappropriatelyscope,plan,design,budget,deliverimprovedcricketfacilityprojectsandoutcomesacrossAustralia.

CricketAustraliasrecommendationsthatmakereferencetocurrentstandards,aswellasprovisionforbest

practiceandshouldnotbeviewedbystakeholdersasessentialrequirementstobedeliveredacrossall

existingvenues.

ItwillbeimportantfortheGuidelinestoalsobereadandimplementedinconjunctionwithotherexisting

sportingcodeguidelinesandassociatedstandardsandrequirementstoensurefacilitiesaremaximisedfor

sharedcommunityand/ormulti-use.

WithineachGuidance NoteprovidedinSection2,therearetechnicaltipsthatwillsupportuserswithspecificandrecurringissuesandchallengesthathavebeenidentifiedbyconsultants,governmentpartners
