Milford Chamber of Commerce is now an Affiliate
Member of the Seward County Chamber and
Development Partnership (SCCDP)!
Perks for YOU and YOUR Business with the Chamber’s Affiliate Membership:
- Able to accept SCCDP Chamber Bucks. They are a check and can only be redeemed at
SCCDP Members. (Last year the SCCDP issued over $32,000 in Chamber Bucks) You
will still be able to purchase Milford Chamber of Commerce Bucks also, but these are
only good at our member businesses.
- Post items of your business in the Blue River Buzz. This is the SCCDP’s weekly email
newsletter that goes out to more than 800 email addresses. Anyone can subscribe, but
only SCCDP members can post items. Use it for any upcoming sales or promotions, or
special events. (We will be providing Todd with a list of our current members already
receiving our emails and he will add you to the BUZZ)
- You will be listed on the SCCDP’s website for free (as well as Milford’s site). Currently
the SCCDP website: www.sewardne.com gets thousands of hits each month. Usually
when someone is moving to the area the Chamber sites are the first sites that people visit
to research about the community.
- You can use the SCCDP’s Bulk Mailing Rate to save money on your mailings.
- You are eligible to be a part of the Seward County Chamber Ambassador’s Club. The
Ambassadors visit new businesses to the county and recognize investments in the
county.
At the February members’ meeting, members voted unanimously to join the SCCDP.
The Affiliate Membership has a yearly membership of $1,000. Those dues will not
affect yearly dues for the Milford Chamber Members.
If you have any questions about this membership, please contact Katie Wergin, Chamber
President at 402-761-2291, Lindsay Kohout, Secretary/Treasurer at 402-641-1998 or the
SCCDP office at 402-643-4189.

Meet the
Board! Jordon Folkers
Milford Chiropractic
My wife Michelle and I moved to Seward in July of 2012, after I completed my
Chiropractic schooling at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. I am
originally from Gothenburg, Nebraska and did my undergrad studies at Hastings
College. My wife is from a small town in Wyoming called Encampment, where she did
her undergrad studies, as well as, her schooling for her R.N. degree at the University of
Wyoming. I worked with Dr. Hackbart at Hackbart Chiropractic for four years before
coming to Milford to work at Milford Chiropractic. My wife is currently the school nurse
in Seward where we live. Our lives changed forever when we were blessed with a
daughter in October of 2014.
I like to stay busy and have been involved in Teammates since 2012 and also have helped
out at our church, Hillcrest Evangelical Free Church as an Awana leader and have
enjoyed watching the young children grow and mature in their relationship with God as
well as with their confidence in themselves. I have also been a part of Kiwanis in Seward
and have recently been given the opportunity to be on the Milford Chamber of
Commerce board. My family and I enjoy anything and everything outside. My daughter
will even make us go outside to play when it is below freezing because she loves to be
outside so much. Not to mention I know where every park is located in Seward and
Milford because we have probably been to each one at least a dozen times in the past
year. We attend different sporting events and shows/plays for fun and have used the
Plum Creek bike path many times as we enjoy riding our bikes on it.
We feel very blessed to be able to live in a great community and raise our daughter in an
area that is safe and offers excellent education. I am also grateful to be able to serve the
Milford community and have been meet with nothing but open arms since I started at
Milford Chiropractic. Thank you for the opportunity to serve and I look forward to
meeting more people around town.

Randy’s studio
We are a husband and wife portrait photography team specializing in Family,
Children, Senior and Pet portraiture. We have a large camera room which allows us to
photograph groups of 20 or more, and we especially love "on location" portraits which
allow us to photograph a person or family in a place that's meaningful to them.
While the creative aspect of photography is satisfying to both of us, our favorite
aspect of our job is getting to know our clients. We truly enjoy the time we spend
with people as we plan the session, take the portraits, and work with them to choose
their favorites. We are grateful for the opportunity we have to meet and work with
people in Milford and the surrounding communities.

Milford
Milford Milford Chamber will again be hosting our annual garage sale weekend this year.
In conjunction with this event we are adding a cooperative garage sale. The
Chamber plans to take donations from anyone willing to donate their items and
will then sell them at one giant garage sale.
All profits from this garage sale will be donated to the Milford Backpack Program.
We ask that you start saving up those donations and keep us in mind so that we
can raise a substantial amount of money to benefit local Milford families through
The Backpack Program.
Garages Sales will be June 2nd and 3rd. The Backpack Program Garage Sale will be
at the Milford Elementary. Item drop off for this will be the weekend prior and a
few evenings on the week leading up to the sale. Drop off times will be posted
closer to the event.

I’m Matt Meierdierks, and 7 years ago I started YourPCXpress as a way to
help people “stay connected”. All my life I’ve had a sincere passion for all
things ‘IT’, and felt like this was a great way to do something I loved,
while making a difference by helping others.
YourPCXpress is run from my home, but I happily make house calls to
Milford and surrounding community customers as well. Some of the
services I offer through YourPCXpress include the following:
· Troubleshooting PC Problems
· System Maintenance & Upgrades
· Backup & Recovery of Data
· Virus & Malware Removal
· New PC & Printer Setup
· And More
I’m incredibly thankful to all my customers for 7 great years, and plan to
be around for all your computer needs for many years to come!
