www.trusselltrust.org Chichester Foodbank is a local Christian charity which started in September 2012. The project aims to tackle poverty by providing 3 day emergency parcels for families and individuals who do not have enough money to buy food.

www.trusselltrust.org People are given a red voucher which they exchanged at the Foodbank centre for an emergency 3 day food parcel.
www.trusselltrust.org While they sit down to have a cup of tea and a chat someone else makes up the food parcels in the stock room.

www.trusselltrust.org Impact on the community Since I visited the Foodbank I can now sleep again knowing I have food in the cupboard to feed myself and daughter. I was also able to allow my daughter to have her friend round to tea which has not been possible for a long time M
