Each door is individually carved from medium-density

fiberboard, which outperforms wood in many areas:

• It stands up to humidity better, which means it will

resist bowing, splitting or warping. Solid wood will

expand or contract as humidity rises and falls; Tria

Composite Doors will not.

• It is harder and more durable. Tria Composite Doors

are built to withstand the bumps and dings that

inevitably occur. These doors are constructed with

the highest-quality standards and patented

building techniques, and are backed with a

THE L -SERIES

What happens when simple, clean lines are mixed

with dramatic, sharp edged design? The L-Series;

call it chic, contemporary, retro, and just fascinating.

It is state-of-the-art construction with flat panel

design. Two solid surfaces encapsulate the interior

panel; there is no movement, meaning there will be

no gaps, no need to touch up paint, and no loose,

wobbly panels.

by embedding molding into the door itself. This creates a unique

Sustainable Materials:

The following doors in the Tria collection contain exceptional pre-consumer certified

recycled content:

• 1-3/4" and 1-3/8" L-Series Doors, Minimum 78% Pre-consumer Recycled Wood

Content (dry weight basis) – Registration # SCS-MC-01856

• 1-3/4" and 1-3/8" C-Series Foam Core Doors, Minimum 74% Pre-consumer Recycled

Wood Content (dry weight basis) – Registration # SCS-MC-01855

• 1-3/4" and 1-3/8" R-Series Particleboard Solid Core Doors, Minimum 70% Pre-

CARB Phase 2 Compliance:

JELD-WEN doors are designed and manufactured to rigorous environmental standards

and all relevant doors comply with the CARB (California Air Resources Board) phase

2 standards for formaldehyde emissions. These standards are applicable to all Tria

products that contain particleboard or MDF (medium density fiberboard), which will

carry CARB phase 2 stamps as signifiers. Additionally, all adhesives used for our Tria

collection are No Added Urea Formaldehyde (NAUF).

Safety, Sound & Accessibility:

Like all JELD-WEN products, Tria Composite Doors come with multiple fire ratings: 20-,

45-, 60-, and 90-minute options are available depending on door type and style. They

also come with impressive Sound Transmission Class ratings, offering quiet and privacy

in areas where those are necessary, and Tria Composite Doors are ADA-compliant.

Forest Stewardship Council (FSC):

The Forest Stewardship Council sets standards for responsible

forest management. A voluntary program, FSC harnesses

market demand to ensure forests are responsibly managed.

Because FSC is the gold standard in forest certification, it is

the only system supported by groups such as World Wildlife Fund, Sierra

Club, Greenpeace, Natural Resources Defense Council and National Wildlife

Federation.

Tria Composite Doors can be upgraded for FSC certification for Chain-

of-Custody of wood products. This certificate covers the manufacture of

special order FSC doors using the transfer and percentage systems and

covers the sourcing of reclaimed material. Products offered, shipped or

sold by JELD-WEN can only be considered covered by the scope of this

certificate when the required FSC claim is clearly stated on invoices and

shipping documents.
