To ensure you have your Internet Explorer browser setup correctly, please follow the instructions below: 1. Close all Internet Explorer browser windows you currently have open, then launch a new Internet Explorer browser. 2. Type the IG website address into the address bar and press ‘Enter’. Once the page has loaded, click into the account login box, then press and hold CTRL+F5 on your keyboard. This will instruct the browser to obtain the most up-to-date version of the website. Now check to see whether the problem still exists. If so, continue on to Step 3. 3. To ensure you have your Internet Explorer browser setup correctly, please follow the instructions below:

1. Close all Internet Explorer browser windows you currently have open, thenlaunch a new Internet Explorer browser.

2. Type the IG website address into the address bar and press ‘Enter’. Oncethe page has loaded, click into the account login box, then press and hold CTRL+F5 on your keyboard. This will instruct the browser to obtain the most up-to-date version of the website.

Now check to see whether the problem still exists. If so, continue on to Step 3.

3. Go to ‘Tools’ then ‘Internet Options’ and perform the following:

On the General Tab:

In the ‘Temporary Internet files’ section click on ‘Delete Files’.

When prompted, ensure ‘Delete all offline content’ isticked then click ‘OK’.

Now click on ‘Delete Cookies…’

When prompted, click ‘OK’.

(Cookies may contain information for a customised webpage or logon information for a website. Before you delete your cookies, you may want to export or save them).

On the Security Tab:

There are four Web content zones – ‘Internet’, ‘Localintranet’, ‘Trusted sites’ and ‘Restricted sites’.

Each zone needs to be set back to the default level. Click on each zone individually then click the ‘Default Level’ button. If the button is greyed out, the zone is already set at the default level.

Click on ‘Trusted Sites’, then ‘Sites’.

Ensure that http://www.igmarkets.com is not in yourtrusted sites, as this can cause problems with the correct loading of the platform. If it is, click on the website and click ‘Remove’.

On the Privacy Tab:

Click on the ‘Default’ button. If this option is greyed out,your Privacy settings are already set to default.

Click on ‘Sites…’

Please add the following websites to the Managed Websites list.

igmarkets.com

it-finance.com

Enter each name individually in the ‘Address of Web site’ box and click ‘Allow’. Then click ‘OK’ twice.

Restart your Internet ConnectionTo help resolve any internet connection issues, please restart your internet connection device.

Router/Modem – Simply unplug the power cable for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.

(Please note: This will affect other programs you have running as you will temporarily lose your internet connection. It will automatically reconnect after 1-2 minutes).

It is advisable to restart your router or modem on a regular basis to ensure you have a ‘fresh’ connection to your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

3G/Wireless USB Modem – Simply restart your computer then reconnect to your wireless Internet provider.

If the problem is not resolved there may be further problems with the browser, or security software currently running on your computer may be causing an issue.

To help isolate the problem, we suggest that you test with an alternate web browser. Mozilla Firefox is a highly recommended web browser that can be installed from http://www.firefox.com.

If Mozilla Firefox also fails please contact Helpdesk and provide details of any security software (antivirus or firewall) you currently have installed.
