SHOUT OUT!

Being a teacher on our campus is always rewarding, BUT being a parent and hearing stories of some

amazing teachers is even better!

I wanted to shout out Mr. V-T (11th grade) for sharing a personal story to his students about his first day as a teacher on our campus and sharing a little of his life and his commitment to his students. My daughter

Laura was emotional and stoked with what Mr. V-T shared-she didn’t go into detail but I could see it in

her eyes that she was moved!

Showing our students that we have feelings and want them to be successful is vital.

Thanks Mr. V-T, not only as your colleague but as a

parent! You ARE awesome!

High school students interested in running CROSS COUNTRY this year MUST have their physical*** completed and turned in to Coach Henderson or Mrs. Arzola before the first Cross Country practice.

Cross Country meeting will be held in room E114, Wednesday, September 9th from 4-5pm. Dates and important information will be distributed at the meeting.

First practice is Thursday, September 10th. Meet in room E114 in proper practice clothing and ready to train!

Students without physical will not be allowed to practice.

HELLO PARENTS OF CLASS OF 2016 AND CLASS OF 2017! : IDEA has received the opportunity to offer the ACT exam,

free of charge to all the Juniors and Seniors. We believe this is a great chance for our students to raise their scores and open up doors to some amazing universities and financial

aid offers.

SEPT. 29 ACT EXAM

Your students have been working very hard preparing for this exam and we hope you have heard all about it from them. Your students will be sitting for this exam on Tuesday, Sept. 29th and I believe that with your help, we can set them up for great success!! Please make sure your 11th or 12th grader gets plenty of sleep on Monday and has time for a great breakfast either at home or here at school. One last thing, don’t underestimate a few words of courage that morning Just these little things can make a huge difference on their testing performance.
