Contemporal1' Challenges in the Legal Profession

The contemporary practice of law is faced with a number of challenges. From ethics in the midst of complex facts to articling shortages, from legal process outsourcing to the unique challenges of socia l media, today's practitioners require a robust awareness of many concerns, and must navigate more than just black letter law in order to maintain competence and grow their practices. In response, The Commons Institute has created a two-day program and brought together a large august faculty to examine a number of prevailing challenges, offer strateg ies, and assist with ensuring your practice management remains ahead of the curve. The 2013 iteration of this program will examine a number of challenges, among them eth ics, legal process outsourcing, the ethical and beneficial use of social media, as well as the future of articling.
