Who are Conventions Malta?
Conventions Malta is the official destination marketing department for M.I.C.E. within the Malta Tourism
Authority (MTA);
With its conception in 2015, the objective of Conventions Malta is that of promoting the Maltese Islands as
a destination for conference & incentive travel, business travel, conventions & exhibitions
As part of the official tourism board for the Maltese Islands, Conventions Malta is funded by local
government;
The MTA itself is a national non-profit government organization which has now been established since
1999;
Conventions Malta does not operate on a commercial basis nor does it organise events;
Our Service is completely unbiased and free of charge

The Maltese Islands
The Maltese archipelago lies virtually at the centre of the Mediterranean towards the South of Sicily.
Malta is the largest of the three major islands that constitute the Maltese archipelago.
Malta is the cultural, commercial & administrative centre.
Gozo is the second largest island and is more rural, characterized by fishing, tourism, crafts & agriculture.
Comino is mostly popular for incentive activities.
Population: 422,066 (Data November 2017).
Size: 316 Km2.
