Welcome to the Tupton Hall School

Tupton Hall School hosts the ‘Cool Stuff for Kids’ programme during every school holiday (except Christmas). Visit www.tuptonhall.derbyshire.sch.uk or follow us on Twitter @tuptonhalls for up to date information regarding the programme.

SUBSIDISED PLACES:

If you qualify for a subsidised place, you only have to pay £10 per week of activities, for this payment you can attend as many on-site activities as you like. (This payment does not include bus journeys, early drop off or late pick up or off-site activities)

In order to claim a subsidised place, you must either live in one of the Parish Councils listed below:

If you do not qualify for a subsidised place, you can still attend any of the activ-ities by paying the cost shown on the booking form.

Holiday Activity Programme 2014/15

PICK UP / DROP OFF SERVICE:

We provide a staffed pick up / drop off service, a Minibus will pick up each morning and return at the end of each day at 3.00pm. (Transport will not be ar-ranged for lunchtime pick up / drop off)

The bus will pick up at the following locations:

RETURN journeys leave Tupton Hall at 3.05pm daily.

Transport will cost £2 per day for a return journey, if you would like to book transport, please select which days and indicate which location you would like to be picked up at on the booking form.

You will be notified of your pick up time via TEXT MESSAGE once all bookings have been collated.

EARLY DROP OFF / LATE PICK UP:

We now offer an Early Drop Off / Late Pick Up Service for parents and carers who need flexibility to attend work.

Children will be supervised during this time by a member off staff and will take part in a variety of games, puzzles and challenges.

Children can be dropped off at any time from 8.00am and picked up no later than 4.00pm.

The cost of Early Drop Off / Late Pick Up is £2 per session / £4 per day

* In order to attend any of the swimming activities, you child must be able to

complete the ‘competency test’, the criteria for the test are:

Must be in school Year 4 or above

Must be able to jump into and get out of the swimming pool at a depth of 1.5m

Must be able to tread water for 1 minute

Must be able to swim at least 50m in any recognisable stroke

Your child may be asked to demonstrate the competency test and asked to leave

the pool if they cannot fulfil the criteria to the lifeguards’ requirements
