PRESS INFORMATION September 19th 2011 For Immediate Release CoreRFID Joins LEEA Safety systems solution provider, CoreRFID, has become a member of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) helping to reinforce its position as a leading provider of lifting equipment inspection systems. As members of LEEA, CoreRFID will be better placed to ensure that its solutions meet LEEA standards, helping other members to follow the LEEA’s Code of Practice for safe lifting operations. The LEEA is a global organisation focusing on safety standards for all those engaged in lifting operations. Members include lifting equipment manufacturers, operators and safety inspectors. CoreRFID’s CheckedOK system is widely used by LEEA members. The system includes standardised checklists for lifting equipment inspections. As a member of LEEA CoreRFID is now well placed to ensure that the CheckedOK system continues to meet future developments in the Code of Practice. CoreRFID will present the latest version of the CheckedOK system at the LEEA’s LiftEx 2011 exhibition and conference at Saviles Hall in Leeds on November 17 th and 18 th . CoreRFID will demonstrate how CheckedOK it supports a wide range of safety inspections covering lifting equipment, lifting gear, scaffolding, and portable appliance testing.

CoreRFID Joins LEEA

Safety systems solution provider, CoreRFID, has become a member of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association

(LEEA) helping to reinforce its position as a leading provider of lifting equipment inspection systems.

As members of LEEA, CoreRFID will be better placed to ensure that its solutions meet LEEA standards, helping other

members to follow the LEEA’s Code of Practice for safe lifting operations.

Established in 1944, the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association campaigns vigorously for higher standards of safety within the lifting

industry. In addition to providing members with training and expert technical advice, the Association works closely with organisations such

as the Health and Safety Executive in the preparation of regulations and British, European and International standards. Member companies

Applicants are subject to an initial technical audit before full membership is granted, and then to a continuing programme of assessments.
